Zaffiro Lavico is located in a strategic position to visit the Etna Park, the Nebrodi Mountains, Catania, Acireale, Taormina and to easily reach the many wonders of eastern Sicily. The house is in fact located a few kilometers from the Acireale motorway exit and from the Etna countries exit of the Catania ring road. If you want to visit the south-eastern coast of the island, Syracuse is about an hour's drive away and the fascinating Noto, Ragusa, Modica and Scicli are suitable for day trips.

Famous for being one of the first tourist resorts in Sicily. Romantic, with a splendid view towards the sea and Mount Etna, loved over the centuries by artists from all over the world. A little higher than Taormina, the medieval village of Castelmola will amaze you with its beauty and its panorama.

Unesco heritage, the Etna volcano is a unique and varied place: woods, lunar landscapes, immense panoramas on the eastern coast of Sicily. The Etna Adventure Park in Milo, the largest in the south of Italy, is a highly recommended attraction and not only for children and teenagers!

The fine baroque of the historic center, one of the oldest and richest libraries in Sicily, the excellent patisserie, the seaside villages such as Santa Maria La Scala, deserve a view of the town that boasts the Carnival (winter and summer) with its splendid floats of papier-mâché.

City with a thousand-year history, counted among the largest metropolises of the classical age. Its precious historic center, Ortigia, took on its present-day Baroque appearance with the reconstruction undertaken following the violent earthquake of 1693. Splendid in all seasons!

RIVIERA DEI CICLOPI

The Riviera of Ulysses and Polyphemus, of Giovanni Verga's Malavoglia, location of the film La terra trema by Rossellini. Romantic places, marked by the contrast of the black of the cliff and the blue of the sea. A walk between Aci Trezza and Aci Castello is really worth it, both in summer and in winter.
